PolicyServer is the centralised management server software that is at the heart of every Netgenium system.
The flexible rulebase allows an every day event to create a combination of actions. For instance, a simple card swipe or time event can lead to doors opening, lights being activated and automated audio announcements.
Further integration with Cisco Systems, Milestone Systems and Mitel, combine the Data Network, IP Physical Security and Unified Communications.
Look below to see what PolicyServer can do for you:
Native IP Device
Our speakers connect to your IP network. They’re simple to install and easily configured and managed with a web browser.
Power over Ethernet
IP speakers are powered and connected to the IP network with a single cable, making them easy to deploy and manage. The on-board audio amplifier is powered by IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at PoE depending on the power consumption.
Our speakers support up to nine levels of announcement priority to make sure the most important announcements are always played.
Each speaker features four Flex Inputs and four Flex Outputs. Each Flex I/O is configurable through the browser interface, providing flexible configuration options for attached I/O, such as playing a pre-recorded audio message, triggering an output or sending an IP event across the IP network.
Netgenium IP speakers integrate with various CCTV VMS software, CCTV hardware, CCTV monitoring centre software and IP telephony systems. View our Integration section for more information.
You’ll find integration with Cisco Call Manager for Audio announcements using G.711 audio, and the ability to ‘pipe’ background music from a multicast audio source.
PolicyServer is a software application and requires a Windows Server platform for installation.
Netgenium Systems recommends a dedicated instance of a server platform, however virtual servers are supported. See below for our server recommendations.
Intel Pentium Processor (3GHz) or greater
6GB RAM (minimum)
80GB HDD space
Windows 2008 R2
TCP/IP Networking Services installed
